01What is the difference between a brass spacer and a brass standoff?
Spacers are unthreaded cylinders or hexes that hold a fixed gap between two parts; standoffs are threaded (internally or externally) to screw-mount PCBs or components at a set distance. Bharti Enterprise machines both to precision tolerances.
02Where are brass standoffs used in electronics?
PCB mounting, control panels and power supply units — maintaining clearances between boards and metal enclosures for proper airflow, insulation and mechanical support.
03What tolerances and thread fits are available on spacers?
